What do you guys think of the cheap n-gage at woollies?
I know this mostly concerns only english shopers but still.
Also i know this isnt completely coshure but is it easy to unlock an n-gage?

if you had a flick through thenews section of this page you will find it is selling for 129 pounds and locked to orange!
Now thats a deal!

Phones 4 U are offering a Nokia N-Gage on Orange PAYG, Tony Hawks Pro Skater plus a text saver pack for

150!!

Total saving of over 100!

Subject to terms and conditions, whilst stocks last!

😃

Look for N-gage on Orange PAYG on Amazon.co.uk for 129 GBP (Woolworths shops were selling them at the same price but seem to have run out of stock, more to be expected after xmas)

I liked the fact that woolies didnt seem to have any N-gages but were quite happy advertising them at 129.99

As the for the amount of N-gages they must have had in the first place they may aswell as advertised them selling for 0.99 they would still be out of stock

I know it sucks. I went over to the uk for a while over christmas and i checked into the woolies in machester and Leeds and both said sorry they were out of stock and they werent getting any more. When I went down to Plymouth the same thing so i got very frustrated and decided lets call the bastards see what they say. Well they told me that each woolies around the uk gets a minimum order of 5 n-gages a day and they usualy sell within the first hour of opening or have already been sold over the phone. So guess what i did I reserved an n-gage, went there the next day and got it. Still if i didnt get it i would buy it from amazon in a flash!

Um, at 130 I'm half tempted. I'm very happy with my P900 and I'm not a great games player but I've always fancied having a Series 60 device so I can try out the software even though it would not be my main device. At that price its almost in the expensive toy bracket, which is probably where its meant to be 😊.

So it seems like the N-Gage is selling quite well dispite the bad press it got at launch. However I've not run into anyone who has been actually using one yet!

I too have yet to find a Woolies with N-Gage's in stock. Still if you do want one for 129 Amazon is also doing them. The link below is for Amazon through the AAS Affiliate Link (actually any amazon product can be ordered via this - its a script I'm experimenting with).

I think they were in Stock in our local Woolies on the 1st day of the promotion. They had a big banner in the window and there were cards in the phone section you could take to the counter to get your phone. This had disappeared by the next day and I've seen nothing about the N-Gage in Woolies since.

That's a handy link Rafe, its a shame I'm only half convinced about buying at the moment, also its still a 1 to 2 week wait and I hate waiting. Does AAS get money for using that link and would that apply to any Amazon purchase? Anything to help support the site 😉

Yeah the wait is annoying. I know only too weel what online etailers sometimes means by 1-2 weeks!

Yes AAS gets money (5%) for using that link, and indeed anything on the same order. Not sure how long the cookies last, but if you could aways start shoping / look for something at http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/cgi-bin/shop/amazon.cgi

Its nots really intended to get people to buy through this rather than direct - I was more interested in some of the how it works (its based off the amazon web services). But sure helping out the site is good too!

Well this makes more sense. You can now buy directly from Orange for 129.99 on Pay As You Go and it looks like they are in stock.

Now can I resist temptation 😉

I got the one from Woolies for my xmas and i unlocked it easily myself in just 30 seconds!

Look online for a 'DCT4 Calc' and put code one (ends in +1) into the Phone (WITH NO SIM IN IT) - the phone will now be unlocked to any network!
