CAR BT 100 now works for P900

How comes the BT car doesn't show up in the list of accessories for the P900?

I don't dare to install a .jar Archive from an unknown site, even if the installer claims it is from Sony Ericsson: there was no digital signature applied to it, so you can never be sure.

Do you have more information on the source who provided the applet?

Hmmm.. I think I stumbled upon that file somewhere in the esato forum... they have tested it already and it works as for me my friend is stillin singapore

OK. You're sure it doesn't send you're entire addressbook to some far away place using an expensive GPRS connection ? 😱

Well, I guess I'm too pessimistic. Or maybe it's because I'm a Java programmer and know about digital signing code....

😃

works for me, I installed from SE website. When run asks me about bluetooth.server, accept or reject, hit accept then it finds the car fine. Wicked little gizmo been using a mates car-100 and now I have to buy one.

I like the record path function 😊

OK, so I just rushed out and bought a CAR 100. After some trial and error (I had to restart the phone with bluetooth on for Java to recognize it), I can now run the car forth and back.

I cannot steer it, however. Does anyone know why?

I'm using version 1.14 of the Java app published on the SE developer site.
