can't delete the sis file in my inbox

strange i tried it on 2 6600 unit. i transferred an opera 6600 sis file via bluetooth on 2 different phones, after i have installed it. I wanted to remove the sis file from the inbox and it won't remove and gives a message

general:already in use

how do i erase this sis messg in the inbox

well.... it's in use.... i guess you have to close it first. install appman and then close it first before you delete it

the same thing happened with me today but it was someother sis file...i searched the file using FExplorer (freely available) and deleted it...( was somewhere in e:\system\mail\) and than i deleted it from inbox without any probs..

thanks for the response.

I checked on c: and d:, but I can't find the inbox directory.

In c: the system/mail directory it has numbers as directory like 0001001_s and subdirectory of numbers.

I think i should look for it in c because it resides in the inbox. I can move the file around like transferring it to my folder but I can't erase it. I already formatted my 1st 6600 phone which also contained a different sis file which I can't remove too, and I just want to figure it out in my 2nd phone on how to remove this.

In e: there is no mail directory.

its better if u use the FIND option in the FExplorer and than u dont need to manually search for the file.

Uninstall the application first. Then install it again using the one in the Inbox. then you can delete the message.

Got the same delete problem. I installed FExplorer as suggested but can't find my inbox. Hope someone could tell me how to search and locate the troublesome file. Thanks in advance!

i had this aswell i got rid of it somehow but i cant quite remember i think u have to transfer ur messsages to mmc then u can delete it

I installed bounce.sis game in my 6600, but I'm unable to delete bounce.sis from my Inbox, get the same message "Already in use". How can I delete this file and aslo would like to know how I can uninstall this game again.
