OK so I got a Bluetooth adapter whcih is working fine via its own software - I can send to the phone etc. However, when I try with PC Suite it simply does nothing! It tells me to make sure the phone is connected to the PC (which it is - as the bluetooth s/w is working fine) but then it doesnt even display the toolbar and the only options available are "Change Device" and the help menus.
When I look at mRouter it lists all com ports, infra red etc but they all say "not connected". I have tried enabling all ports, refreshing, but nothign comes through.
I am using XP Pro by the way.
Anyone got any idea how to solve this? Is there some sort of conflict going on somewhere? It worked fine on my machine at work (albeit a little slow).
HHEELLPPP!!!! 😊
I have the same problem.
Got it working once and then never again. Which means I guess that I am not good enough to figure all these damn connections out. The darn things are supposed to be made for IDIOTS that don't have time to figure out the taiwanese-like English and omissions of the INSTRUCTIONS I say!
I am willing to PAY someone that will set up my Nokia 6600 with my laptop the way I want and to do the things I need. Seriously. I will damn PAY for this. I don't wanna learn how it all works, I just wanna use it! Same like my car...I drive the sucker, not have to do an engine overhaul everytime I wanna go shopping!
Does the same method work when my adaptor is from Belkin?
I 've got the same problem: PC Suite / Router does not see my N 6600.
I am using Win 98 -- and I don't want any XPs...
