Thanks very much!

Still I find it strange that there are no official drivers for symbian based mobile phones... Let's hope they'll make some very soon.

Btw do these keyboards also exist in AZERTY?

Tom

There were official Symbian drivers. But the company - Pocketop didn't pay for their developement so they never saw the light of day.

As for whether or not these keyboards exist in AZERTY you will have to check with the official websites.

Are there any BT keyboards rather than IR out there that would work for symbian?

However, they say: "Stowaway keyboard can work with essentially any smartphone, PDA or cell phone that has the Bluetooth HID (human interface device) profile in its software stack."

And there is no Bluetooth HID profile support in any Symbian device on the market today (Is there in any device yet?), and they seem to have it as a prerequisite (i.e., I interpret this as meaning that they won't be developing the required Bluetooth HID profile support.

Darn!You we faster N/A 😃

Its really disapointing.A Bluetooth keyboard would be a dream come true.Maybe this will urge phone manufacturers to implement the HID profile in their future products(any word from Nokia on this? 😉 ) but like N/A said, there is no device no device on the market that has the HID profile implemented so no dice for now 😞

Could the stack be updated in firmware upgrades? A 6600 with BT keyboard would be a dream come true - bye bye laptop...
