Do I NEED bluetooth to use pc suite? because at the moment the program wont find my phone. nokia audio manager finds it fine but not pc suite. I want to put on some application and pics etc that i have downloaded onto my phone but it is becoming more and more annoying, could somebody PLEASE help lol.

I've had a simular problem, when I click on the PC suite it says please connect your n-gage and press OK, so I do and it doesn't do anything. So I was wondering if there's a way of connecting via the USB cable and going in windows explorer and put a file on the n-gage, is this possible?? If so how do you do it???

(by the way i've looked in the F.A.Q)

yeah i have the same problem i am using the supplied usb cable

so if i get a bluetooth styled usb adapter will that do it and once i have done that

What actually does the pc suite do

well i will be using the bluetooth adapter for the wireless internet bit

well am i right in saying the n-gage also does that

the n-gage is too new to tell yet and everyone is still unfamiliar with it

the pc suite will install download .jar(java midlets) , operator logos ringtones install symbian stuff and alike , but only if u have bluetoth , also all this can be done buy trasfering the files direct to the mmc card via usb lead(n-gage will show up as a new hardrive on xp and 2000/03) . for instance if u have fexeploror in stalled copy ringtones to mmc then using fexeplor copy them to c:/nokia/sounds/digtal (on your n-gage not your pc) then they are usable on your n-gage

I could not get PC Manager to connect to the phone using the USB cable. I called Nokia support and they told me that you CAN NOT use the cable with PC Manager it only works with the Audio Manager. I have to say this is the dumbest idea I ever heard of.....and they at least should tell you that when you buy it. So yes, I went a got a bluetooth dongle and it works. It took some setting up as it was abit fussy but it works now. I was also told that Audio manager won't do anything until you have a media card installed in the N Gage.

1) y do u even want to use the nokia software? its shit

2) if u havent bought a MMC memory card for ur fone ur pc WILL NOT reconize it as a memory device... thats just common sence

3) if u DO eventually develop the sence to go and buy a memory card, get a 128Mb or above. 64s r a waste of time

4) try reading your manual be4 posting dumbass questions
