Loudspeaker stopped working?

I only got my N-Gage yesterday, and while I was looking through the ringtones in the Profiles the previews of the ringtones just stopped working. I really have no idea why, I don't remember doing anything. I didn't think about it much, until later when I was getting an incoming call, but no sound was coming from the phone.

So now, not only can I not hear ringtones but I don't get sound from the loudspeaker when I listen to the radio or play mp3s too. The only time I get sound out of the speaker is when I'm in the ringtone composer and when I press keys, I still get the keypad tone. The only way I can hear ringtones etc is if I plug the headphones in.

It's really rather frustrating... I've searched forum after forum, and it seems no one has the answer!

Please help! I don't want to have to send my phone back after setting everything up.

I am a newbie to n-gage to but i know this sounds stupid but unplug headphones if you have them in and when you enter the music player go to the options and activate loudspeaker. I know this sounds daft but i am only trying to help! Hope it works!

I tried turning on the loudspeaker through the mp3 player already Shadow12, thanks for help anyway. 😊

SAbz911, I've switched it off and on again a good few times, and it does nothing. I just tried the hard reset code and the problem remains. I think after a hard reset I will definitely have to return it.

Thanks for all your help.
