mp3 Audio playback Quality

Hello,

I am considering buying the N-Gage for essentially for games, but the stereo mp3 playback. I have checked the specs. - It is the only phone where Nokia provides a Hi-fi Stereo Headset & a decent connector- cause the port pop interface is not very good.

Does it have a decent quality loud and quality sound which matches near to a portable mp3 player? I have seen different equaliser settings on the phone- with a bass on/off choice. but I need your feedback on the sound aspect. Thank you for your time.

Well i dont think it has as many difering controls as a standard mp3 player but the quality is still damn good. Other software mp3 players for the n-gage may offer more features. So have a browse.

I'm sorry about the last post- that I am buying the phone for the games...... Infact I'm buying it just for the mp3 player!+ series 60 platform.

I've listened to the N3300- and i didn't like the mp3 playback on the stereo headphones😞 It just doesn't have any bass, and the equalisers are no use also. Then I tried to have my own setting equaliser - but didn't play good enough.

Any reviews about the N-gage mp3 player?

yeah its the better of the nokias mate for mp3 play back (apart from the the old dct3 5510) the 3310 dont sound right the 6600 sounds very nice as well and is running latest symbian os but n-gage has gamming platform ,better design for this pupose i find it the easist layout for symbian and gameing , so yeah mate mp3 playback is nice very nice with headphones in
