Using Real Player

Hi,

I used the PC suite to transfer MP3s to the mmc in my 3650. I've downloaded FExplorer and can see the songs in my E drive (Digital folder). However, I can't play the songs using Realplayer. When I open the Realplayer program, no songs are shown in its digital folder.

Can anyone tell me what to do so as to be able to play songs on my phone's realplayer? Thanks a million.

RealPlayer does not support .MP3

There are many MP3 players you can get for the phone, in my opinion UltraMP3 is about the best, but does not work with BT headsets at present.

Also, if you sign yourself up as a mobile developer on the real.com site you can get your hands on their latest beta release real player, which does support .MP3, but has no playlist option and only plays 15 mins of music before pausing.

Hi

The PC suite automatically convert the MP3s to .wav files. The realplayer can't play that either.

I've also tried to transfer Real audio songs directly, but it don't seem to work too.

Are the MP3 players u recomended freewares?

Cheers

Hello everyone,

I have MP3player for my 3650 and am connected from my computer via bluetooth, but i am struggling to get MP3's on to my phone... Is there any where special i need to store them to, in order for me to find them through mp3player?

Cheers in advance

Sean

Hi,

You can download HELIX software that will convert the mp3 files into .rm files (you can get trial software to test), that way the real player will pick the files & allow you to listen to your music.

Alternatively, you buy MP3 player software for your phone.

Hi Sean,

I have sent mp3files via bluetooth before, using FE Explorer I have moved the files into an MP3 Directory (which I created).
MP3Player will then carry out a search to locate the accessible files. Alternatively, why not use PC Suite to send your mp3 files to a particular directory on the phone, in the control panel un-select the mp3 convert toggle. That way the mp3 files are transferred without any changes.
