Can someone plz help me sort out this darn sync issue with
NOKIA PC Suite under XP? I have a comsol USB bluetooth adapter (Australian company) of course my bluetooth S/W picks up my phone but PC suite has no idea LOL.

I hope there is a generic fix for this as there are alot of us out there without TDK adaptors.

Cheers

My adapter isn't TDK. I'm running Windows XP. PC Suite works fine.

I presume you're using Widcomm - if so, remember to initiate a Bluetooth Serial Port connection via that first. To do this, right click your phone in the Widcomm properties and click 'Connect Bluetooth Serial Port'. Then you'll get a message that it's connected. Don't worry if it says something stupid like 'COM0' and then 'The remote computer closed the connection' - this is normal.

Once that has been done, load mRouter and uncheck ALL ports. Then add all ports one-by-one. Eventually you'll find a port that works and mRouter should illuminate. Once this is done, PC Suite should work properly.

Hope this helps.

when i did wat u do wrote earlier, i din get the com0 thing...
i got the msg "cannot connect to the remote device"
what happen pls?

When this happens to me, I reboot the phone. If that fails, I reboot the PC - then it works fine.

oic...

i reboot my phone and pc when i get back later....

i'll let u know if all's okie...
thanks....
