Today, my SMS (send & receive) has suddenly stopped with my SE p800. I've tried it with different SIM cards and the same result. These same SIM cards work fine in my Nokia 3310 though.
Are there any settings I could check that could have caused this?

Ok, SMS messages send fine now. However they still don't receive properly. I get no message/vibration/sound when an SMS arrives.
I've checked the settings under 'Messaging Accounts' and 'Alerts' but it's like the phone doesn't even know when it's got new messages.
I have to turn the phone off and then back on again and then click the Messages tab and it then says I have 'x' unread messages.
Kinda annoying as you can imagine 😞

To a full restore of your phone.
I have same problem recently.
Do you have over 1,200 un-deleted messages in your inbox?
Delete your old message to below 1,000 and it will work again.
