NOKIA CONNECTION MANAGER

I have just brought a usb Infrared connection for my pc so i can send pics to my pc from my phone!

But according to nokia connection manager no phone is connected, i know the port is working because my old 7110 works fine.

I am running windows xp, i am tearing my hair out! I really love the phone..............but i just wish i could use it to it's full extent

After going through lots of posting groups i.e google i found the solution just by changing the Infrared transceiver type from Sigamatel to Vishay 61014E.

I got the feeling that Sigamatel's software doesn't set XP up properly.

Now everything is working a treat, finally after having this phone for a month i am now cooking with gas!
