Adding ring tones to Nokia 6600

Hi,
Just got my Nokia 6600 yesterday. I want to add new ring tones to the phone. I tried copying the file over to the Memory device using the software provided by nokia but every time i try to transfer a midi file it crashesh. I can trasfer images & stuff but no audio files.. Can anyone suggest a solution or any other software that might help ?

hey smartdevil,

what format are u trying to transfer? is it midi or wav or mp3 format?

if midi and wav, just transfer it without opening pc suite
if mp3, did u install the converter while installing the pc suite?

or just convert the mp3 to wav using itunes or other programs then decode it using mp3 to wav decoder programs

I was trying to transfer a midi file... but will try transfering it directly now.. Thanks for the reply 😊
