(i have not syn with the desk top stand i only want to use bluetooth) thanks 😕 😕 😕 😊

If I remember correctly, you have to sync once through USB first. Then you can use the bluetooth method...I do not have any issues with this...

Cheers
Nick

thanks nick appreciate your help
i tried to sync with the stand first like you said but couldnt
it just didnt want to know so i read loads and loads of forums.
wot i did was turn my laptop on, turned off norton internet security and firewall, pluged in the desk top stand with phone attached, and hey-presto all working fine 😊 desk stand and bluetooth great 😊 i turned norton back on and and tried again but it didnt work so i have to remember to turn norton off each time, hope this helps others out there with the same problem
cheers have fun, lee

I believe it's an issue known to SE, as it's mentioned when installing and starting the PC Sync: "the program may appear to be connecting to the internet" but it's actually not, but it gives signals to any Firewall or Internet Security program that it's trying to.

so either you try adding the Sync software to the Safe programs (like in Zone Alarm) or you'd have to turn it off when you want to Sync and then back on!

yes what a pain,

im going to wait to my norton sub runs out then look at other firewalls

Man... this makes no sense... I have to deactive the Antivirus on my Laptop for the Bluetooth serial conn to work with the phone... dam.
