how do I install these on my n-gage I tried to put it in my phone but I cant see it on manager all it says is "no data" and i cant see it also in app manage

Jar and jad files are java files so you dont install as you would a normal app. I am only guessing here since havent used either you just navigate to then using some sort of files explorer select and well i think it just works. I could be wrong but thats my 2 cent
u only need the jar file
u go to menu}extra}apps then u install it from here
u can not install a java game that u have placed in your mmc via the usb cable...
but u can put it in the correct directory and folder using FExplorer
when u open FExplorer, go to E: then u will find the jar. file, go to options and select copy.
then go back out and into directory C:Nokia/Installs and go to options and select paste
now u can go to appz and u will there will come a message saying u have uninstalled apps on your phone
press gamepad right and select install and thats that 😊
you don't need to put any java file to any specific foler. by a file browser like FExplorer just locate the jar file you've put into your device (you don't need to put the jad files. jad files are information files about the jar files, if you wonder what information, check it by opening the with a text editor like notepad, or wordpad). Then open the file. N-Gage will directly ask you do you want to install this file. after you install, you can delete the jar file that yo put into your device...

can i install jar applications and gemes so that the short cut appear in menu as a sis application installed. the games comes only in application manager .The long list makes many probs.
wen u open a jar file using winrar many files and folders can be seen . I read in one help file with a game that u can install the game by copyin all of these files to some sub folder in system folder. Is it possible?

maybe the game that u choose to install is not compatible with ngage, you should chek the compatibility first coz theres already midp2, new jar games that work only on OS6.1 and above. and there is also jar games for series40 phones
