Movie Trailers

Hi,

I've recently downloaded the new Spiderman Trailers on my PC which
are run with the Quick Time Player?

I copied the Trailers to my MMC to see if I could view them on my
phone, but the phone doesn't recognise the files.

Is there a program I could install so I could watch the Movie
Trailers on my phone?

You have to convert them to .3gp files before you can play them on your phone. I use the premium version of QuickTime player (�25) to convert my movie trailers.

I have Spiderman 2, Return Of The King, Shrek 2 etc.

Can u please tell me what is the process you use to convert to 3gp? I am trying to use quicktime 6.5 pro, but the audio file doesn't play.

Use the file transfer process in PC Suite....it converts them for you. Or use something like RealProducer 8 or Helix (both from real.com)

Use quicktime to convert into .avi then use a different program to convert to .3gp

I find the audio gets lost too, but the above methord works.

I use NokiaMultimediaConverter to convert .avi to .3gp, if you use their cli encoder you can batch up loads of movies and convert them all in one go.

With QuickTime 6.5 go to "file" then "export". Leave file names, file types as they are, on "export" - pick "Movie to 3g". On "Use" - pick "default settings". Save to your desktop or wherever. Then from there right click "copy" and then "paste" into PC Suite.

Hopefully that should do the trick.

Just a small tip,there are other Movie player,like Mobiclip or PvPlayer or the player from the 3GPP Philips Camcorder which IMO has the best playback quality.

BTW:PC Suite does a really crappy job in coverting files.

What do you use instead of PC Suite?

All my music files on the PC are in Real Player in Wave format (1411kb) what do I need to be able to play about 40 mins worth of music on my phone. I have upgraded my memory card to 128MB already.

Its very annoying not having an FM radio biult in and poor music support.
