Bluetooth headset query

Any one can tell me which models work with no problems with the 6600? Hasle free? I am thinking of getting one (I drive a lot)

I picked up the Nokia Bluetooth Headset. Works very well. Comes with a Li-Polymer battery with over 4 hours of talktime. Works well within 4-5 mtrs. Has a convenient clip to hook on to the pocket or lapel. The only concern is that you need to keep the earpiece in your ear all the time when the device is connected to the phone as the incloing calls ring only in the earpiece when connceted to headset.

I got the Plantronics M3000 headset. Its 20 -30 cheaper than the Nokia equivelents. It has 8 hrs talktime, comes with dedicated charger and is very comfortable to wear. Try "The Link" its 49.99 in there.

I got that model too (works very well)..

I bought mine from ebuyer, it was on special offer with TDK Bluetooth adaptor 😊

Jabra BT200
Works well for me..
Auto disconnects when placed in the charger
Auto connects when taken off the charger and put on your ear.

Very good - 100 times better and more comfortable than Nokia's in my opinion

I discovered this also (too bad I did not read your comment first). I just could not believe this and called Nokia Tech Support. They actually confirmed the matter. Talk about BIG BLUNDER design (or programming). Or, do Nokia actually think that people are going to wear the HD2W all day long!
Once again, this must be the blunder of the year for Nokia.

(Nokia told me they might change this in a future upgrade of the phone software. Let's hope they do.)

Meanwhile, you can switch to a profile which has the PAGER turned on. The phone does not shut down that one.

P.S. I assume that other Bluetooth headsets suffer the same problem. If not, please let me know of which doesn't.

I bought the Nokia HDW-2 over Christmas and seems to work fine. Audio quality isn't brilliant but it does the job.

One thing I have noticed is that the the audio quality is really bad if the phone is in my pocket rather than in direct LOS to the headset.

Anybody else had this problem ?.
