Well I have a pay as you go connection (a la carte) with vodafone in greece but i seem to be unable to use opera. I have never used opera before but i enter the url of the location i wish to visit i.e www.google.com and it does nothing just shows me the intro scene for opera. Can anyone help me?

First you have to set up the internet / wap settings on the phone for the sim you are using. Then opera will work!

Settings all right as far as i can tell i can access wap and gprs and send mms and all other things gprs. I just dont seem to be able to get opera and agile messenger to work. I will have another look around the forum but i just cant seem to find the settings anywhere. I am not very good at searching😞

do not allow data transfer. they allow only WAP BROWSING
u can login to msn , yahoo or icq, using the links of my wap
page(look the signature 😉 )

Shadow,you will need a GRPS Internet access point,not GPRS Wap.One of the few applications that works with a GPRS Wap access point is WebViewer(i think)

Hi, I dialed 1212 (same in all countries) with my fon and recieved toll free service. I asked them , (vodafon) to configure my mobil and they sent me an SMS, and presto, done! worked great and costs nothing....cool service.. service name is configurator
I dialed it and all it says is that i havent activated the personal phone operator! I am confused. Could you give a bit more detail?

this service is not avalailable in greek vodafone! they are loosers here and i am shamed about it
