where are you from? because as the sony ericsson z1010 is a umts device, if you are in england, the service that you will get from hutchison 3 network will be absolutely crap
video conferencing?
well, it might make sense... if the screen and the camera were on the same side of the phone... 😊
The P900 is compatable with 3g networks, i read somewhere that 3g will be releasing it this yeah, so i guess it is. And i know the motorolar a920 supports this, which is basicaly the same os. But, like soybomb says, what's the point if you cant point the camera at yourself and see the other people at the same time?
Perhaps use a complex mirror setup?

where did you find that out?
Cant remember, think it was somewhere on here , I got a motorola a920 phone on 3g before i decided it was pap and got this instead, I remember reading somewhere that the p900 is compatible with the 3g network, but 3g havn't released it as one of their phones yet.
Anyone who's got access to a 3g sim wanna try it?
did anyone get these claims confirmed or unconfirmed?
sorry to deliver the bad news guys ...
but the P800 and P900 are NOT 3G compatible

Can i just point out that the P800 is not a P900.
all I know is what I read on Aussie3g, I'll believe it doesn't work on the 3g network when someone tries a 3g sim in it and tells me it doesn't work
Not that any of this makes the blindest bit of difference as the only benefit to being on a 3g network is that you can make and recieve video calls, which wouldn't be very easy on this phone.
