I just called my operator who told me that I need an I mode phone to receive and send email. ( btw, my operator is BASE ) since i have a 3650 (without I mode) is there anyway i can send that attachment from an e mail to my phone? And how
thanks a lot !!!! Is there anyway I mode apps that that work with a non I mode phone?
Appreciate it

On your computer, with whatever email program you use, use the same method to add an attachment that you use when you want to send the attachment to another computer user. There is no difference.

FExplorer is available from http://www.gosymbian.com/

The installation file (.sis ending), if that's the one you want to send to your phone, is what you should add as an attachment in your email program.

Then all you need is to make sure you have the correct email and internet access GPRS settings on your phone. You can get those from your ISP/operator.

If your question is really about something else, please elaborate.

thanks for your answer, but i still don t get it. Let say, i have an hotmail adress. How can i send it to the phone? What do i have to put in the "to" section? An email address, my phone number?
thanks

The phone doesn't have an email address by default. Though, some operators/carriers do set up email addresses for your phone number, but you still need the settings:

1) Your phone plan/subscription needs to include full [GPRS] Internet access. Call your operator/carrier to find out if you do or don't.

2) You need to get [GPRS] "Internet Access Point" settings from your operator/carrier for your phone. Call them and ask them to send the settings to you as an SMS, or locate the settings on their website or try this Nokia page:
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,32863,00.html

3) You need to get the proper POP3 or IMAP4 email settings from your email service provider (typically your ISP, Internet Service Provider). Most likely they are included with the documentation you received when you signed up, or on their website.

Note: Hotmail does not have POP3 or IMAP4 access, so you cannot use the phone'e Messaging (email) program to access a Hotmail account.
