OK this fault is so weird, as they all are with mobiles.
I can download .3gp files from wap using an Orange sim card no problem, but if I use my O2 pay-go it fails wrong mime type.

A server problem or O2 gateway problem you say, but the same files are ok on an orange sim, and if I put the O2 sim in a 7650/3650 they work fine as well????
It does seem a bit of an oddball this 6600, it's the only phone to ever cause me problems.

I would have to say its something to do with the O2 network not ready to send videos to the 6600. A freind of mine with a colour handset was denied access to Vodafone lives colour services not becuase his phone couldnt accept it but because the network didnt recognise the phone, it took them some while to update their systems...

O2 are blocking 3gp streaming. I got this confirmed from one fo their customer services folks.

The main reason is that they want to introduce their own 3gp streaming service soon, and charge separately for it.

I'm sure it will be a great success ... NOT!

Hmmmm, thanks for replies, could be something in that, the 7650/3650 don't support streaming but the 6600 does, maybe they are detecting the 6600 and blocking 3gp to it.
