How can you send Polyphonic ringtones to phones excluding bluetooth and infra-red?

Is it possible to do it by text message?

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (Nokia6510/1.0 (04.06) UP.Link/5.1.1.3)

It's not fair-we used to be able to send tones with the old nokia phones via sms now I have to spend 4 times as much for the same privaldege! How the fuck do I spell that?

You are unable to send most polyphonic ringtones that you have bought due to restrictions put in them by the provider. If you're paying 3 for one, they don't want you to give it to someone for free, they want the other person to pay 3 too.

goto extra >> file manager and choose soundclips >> digital sound, choose midi file
pick option >> rename it, example : (tune.mid changed to tune.mis).
then open the tune.mis at gallery send it via infrared or blutooth...
for sender : after send change the extension to original (tune.mid).
for received phone : after received change the extension to original (tune.mid)
remember : only 6600 and other symbian60 phone which must have apps seleq or efile manager to change the extension.

maybe it can help
