I knew about this app long time ago but thought it wasn't good when I saw its icon on a friend's 7650.

But, indeed, I agree that it is one of the best applications for the 6600 (at least until now it works just fine). I also agree that it is far better than Photographer in most of the points.

Does anyone know the difference between the freeware and the pro version? The freeware version seems quite complete to me, so I cannot image what the pro has... 🙄

How about u pay for it ?? Strange concept to u maybe, but how do u think developers get paid to write software for your phone ?? Oh yes, the pay fairies come down and sprinkle pay dust and then, magically, money appears !!!

great app... thanx....i installed on both my SX1 & 6600. works flawlessly

60kb vs 900kb??

i really dont see that big of a difference in picture quality from the tests above for that file size to be acceptable...

The freeware version is a little more buggy, crashed my phone twice while messing with the settings, also the viewing framerate is much worse, everything else is the same though.

The full BMP 900kb pics are sharper than the jpg's even at minimum compresion, only really acceptable if you have a huge MMC and a card reader.

I still prefer photographer.

The .bmp option is no use to me as I like to send my pix by MMS - photographer at top quality still comes in at under 100kb, just right for MMS and flexicam offers no extra benefits to the quality of the image at that file size to warrent buying another application
In fact I think Photographers automatic post proccessing is better and make the pix more 'realistic' in terms of colour balance and saturation - expecially once printed..

And of course if you will not use BMP for MMS 😉

Looks like you forgot that FlexiCam you can use JPG too and you don't have only 4 quality options like on Photographer, on FlexiCam you set up the quality between 1% to 100% so much better to fix an apropiate quality depending of the picture you take For MMS or any other kind of messange...

And about the post processing... 6600 don't need that, only the 7650 and 3650 need that to fix some problems at the borders of the image...

And like i said, that annoying SAVING PICTURE time on Photographer when you don't like that shot, that don't happend
on FlexiCam

The SetUp for the Backlight, and Day or Night direct menu...

Anyway!.. in my opinion FlexiCam is far more professional than Photographer.

And i think that you WillBrady don't tested FlexiCam before you post your opinion on this topic? or you tested?... because it's curious that you talk about to send 100 kb MMS pic and don't think that FlexiCam can take low quality pics too, and i mean very low quality, less quality than the lower quality of photographer pics for that.

And finally, remeber that FlexiCam has another important extra
ITS FREE!!!, i am using btw the Lite version (FREEWARE)

I know flexi cam can produce JPG's and different quality - thats why I said at 100kb there is no quality benefit at 100kb to warrent buying another program.

Oh - thou I did not realise it was free 😉
My snaps had UNREGISTERED printed on them 😊

For people looking for another cam program to replace the nokia one then Flexicam is good and worth considering I grant you that.

But for ME as I have already bought Photographer and perhaps other users of Photographer then there is no benefit of flexicam to ME.

Just my opinion mate, thou I understand and respect yours, oh master of themes and skins 😊

i like some of photographer's addons, like frames and stuff..though its a bit slow..

btw aefox..i still use slauncher, its much faster than the original themes! plus the task manager rocks 😉 but slauncher combined with your themes rules eheh

SmartLauncher Still Rocks! 😃 and now i am using again ...

Because is faster to show and browse the main icons menu than default nokia Icons Menus ...

I like the combination of themes + smartlauncher
all go faster because SmartLauncher CLOSE the normal system menu process...

and you can make folders into folders too, like a PC...

Well.. now i am using both.. and i already make it an SmartLauncher Skin for each one of my themes 😊 ...

So i can assign the main theme and then the SmartLauncher skin that match with it and the icons 😃

You think you are cool just because you paying for the crappy software sheepishly.

Let me tell you something dork, I downloaded and installed a software (and payed for it); and later i found out that that software fucked up my phone. I emailed the producer about the problem but they did not reply back. Will they pay me for my loss? I dont think so.

If you are going to act like a smart-ass and tell me "You have to use them in your own risk!" douh I am telling you I refuse to pay any kind of software until I find they are not a risk for use.

And stop calling people names.

In that case you should use the trial version - if you like it buy it.

Buy your software throu this forum which is run with Handango, if you have a problem with it then Handango will refund you.
I've never had a problem with them..

One bad experiance is no excuse to use warez - there is NEVER any excuse to use warez....
