What apps and games do you use

Installed so far (and working):

- FExplorer (great File Manager / Explorer app)
- GoBoy with a few games
- Doom (suprisingly good)
- Forward (allows forwarding of anything in your messages)
- Opera web browser (demo only)
- Torch (haven't used it yet, but who knows)

is Doom java?

where can we download it?

Doom is a port from the PC version to Symbian (C++??) it's available to download, but i forget where, search google, i found it easily enough. do not be fooled by the java version of doom, it's lame 😊

Oh and if you are gonna install on the 6600 you will probably want the MMC patch so you can run it from the MMC, search google as well for that.

Installed Apps and Games (all on the MMC)

APPS:

- SeleQ (the Best File Explorer)
- Opera (Web Browser)
- TipicME (Freeware MSN, Yahoo, etc.. Messenger)
- FlexiCam Lite (the best photo camera app that i know by now, the only one can save on PNG or BMP formats)
- RemoteS60 (To control de phone from the PC)
- Bemused (to control WinAmp from the phone)
- PowerLock (Symbianware ScreenSaver The Best!)
- YFTP (FTP Client to send or recieve files to/from any server)
- SmartLauncher (nice app to skin the main menu background and customize all icons even the third party apps)
- Skin Editor (to edit and assign the icons for SmartLauncher)

GAMES:
- Flames (still the best real 3D graphics spaceship game on S60)
- Phantom OverDrive (nice 3D cars race game)
- Mosquitos (one of the most original game i know because it use the camera)
- PacMan (nice Java game version)
- Agile Fighter (Cool Fighting game like the first Mortal Combat style)

Plus: All my themes, one 4 meg Britney Video, 677kb of images, 194kb. of sounds

MMC Used: 10 meg. Free: 20 meg.
Phone MEM Used 377kb (contacts) Free: 4.5 meg.

Very simple standard and useful function ... MARK ... even all the Nokia default file manager and system has MARK, MARK ALL, UNMARK etc...

Too sad that FExplorer can't make that easy task 🙄
or there is some kind of hide key combination to do that? hope not, why to hide that simple function?...

True, but the way you navigate the directory structure is a lot easier.
Is there a piece of software with this naviagtion method and mulitple select?

I don't understand why I or anyone else should accept your opinion that SeleQ is the best file explorer or that any application is the best.Can SeleQ do this: Be free?!

I even think that Photographer is better then FlexiCam.BTW:Its not the only one that can save in .bmp format,not that saving in .bmp format is something special in fact,when the camera snaps an image its in .bmp format but its compressed on the fly,that is why you have to wait a little until the image is saved.

And GhostDog... don't get it mad with this simple opinion post 😊, i am not saying that you must to accept my opinion about SeleQ...

Just when i said something about apps, like IS THE BEST for example, i said because i already tested and make some evaluations on both apps... and any person with some reassonable criteria will be agree that SeleQ is better than FExplorer (by now), taking apart the "free" issue of course... and we hope that FExplorer add that function...

Just that simple option to "MARK" files, makes it big difference ...

It could be a completely different history if you said "FExplorer is the best OF THE FREE file explorer apps" ... that make sense...

But let the people judge which app it's better testing, evaluating and reviewing, and let them decide if will pay or not for them...
i am just telling my resume of my experiencies, very simples task tested anyway.

And of course FExplorer will be upgraded, all software does, SeleQ will do too 😉

And about the FlexiCam, same thing, i tested both, and i said my opinion, we are on a free world, anyone can test by their own and prove or not what i said about both apps, so.. what is the problem?...

AEFOX,SeleQ doesn't have the same navigation mechanism as FExplorer,so there is no such app.

When i review an app,aside from the features i also consider the price and in my review FExplorer came on top 😉

Just that simple "freeware" option makes a a big difference.
