The option is not in the N-Gage, because you can not store messages on a game card. If you play a game and recieve a message it cant be stored then. Get it?

what i mean is just ordinary mmc. not game card.get it ? u slow thinker!
Do u know ordinary mmc and game card are different cards.get it ?u.... :icon13:

Game cards are read-only (cannot be written to).

Normal MMCs can be written to, of course, but the feature in the built-in Messaging app on the N-Gage has been disabled to use MMC for message memory unlike other Series 60 phones with MMCs (where it can be done).

This is most likely, because it is an either-or situation; messaging memory is either using phone memory or MMC, but not both at the same time. If you'd be allowed to do it with an N-Gage, then if you had a game card in the device, then there wouldn't be any place where incoming messages could be written to.

Get it?

The N-Gage was design to play games, so yes the function has been disabled to store messages on the MMC.

I think you may have misunderstood what Royal21 meant. There would be no point having this option enabled, due to the fact that you COULD have a game card in when recieving a message. This would make it a useless option to have enabled if in that situation as there would be no where to store the message.
