just to let you know I spoke with expansys today and they told me they will have the P800 it in 2 weeks. I called SonyEricson in UK and they said 4 weeks but they would be taking orders in about a week and price had been fixed at �450 unlocked sim free. Also said other countries me recieve it 1 or 2 weeks before so may see some grey imports before UK release, there words.

The Expansys Product News on the front page of their site has been updated with P800 availability. Unfortunately its a bit vague and they don't have a price.
"If the release is this month, it is unlikely to be imminent (or we would know more). "

�450 SIM-free is a fair price, which will come down in a few months I'm sure. So I take it they will be selling from their web site direct?
I called Sonyericsson UK and press the number for sales and spoke with them, I do not know if you buy it on there web site. I dont have the phone number its at work but will post it if you are interested.
P800 seems to be a very nice cell phone but im more wondering when there will be bigger memory sticks out like 256mb or 512mb - 1gb out

Full size Memory Sticks don't seam to be available above 128 Mb. So that does not look promising for Due ones.
Unless the plan is for Sony to make all flash memory in Duo format (can be used with adaptor as normal MS) and they are just holding back.

Wow - are you sure �450 SIM free? - I was expecting way more - I was keen about getting one anyway - now i'm very keen 😉 - the 7650 price has been crashing the last few weeks i've noticed (Can get for �99 with contract now - or �299 SIM free)

Let's face it, Expansys just stick something up when it's been announced with a guess for the release date. Maybe October is a realistic date but they have been wrong about most new products in the last 6 months. Who's betting that once it gets to late October they update it to say November?

They were saying they were expecting in in 30 days and that was back in july!
nutz to sony ericsson, the p800 just sounds too dodgy. I was set to buy one for about 2 months but i've just gone and brought a fujitsu loox instead.
