Problem with amr file as ringtone

Hi all,

I have recorded an amr file via the phone to use as ringtone. When I preview the ringtone it is loud and clear. However when someone actually calls and the phone rings, it is only about 50% of the original volume... with everything already maxed out. Any idea?

Same here dude,i've heard somewhere that this is due the symbian os on the device,but,dont take my word for it

well, if it is a software thing, then there is a chance that it can be fixed. But as far as the nokia tech that i have spoken to, there is nothing wrong.
