Can we update the series?

hi,

when they say that the nokia 7700 will use series90 ,then i think it will be better from all mobile like nokia6600

but can i update the nokia 6600 from series60 to series90?

Mohamedwaly,nothing is impossible,but you wont.BTW:Series 90 is a touch screen interface.I don't see a touchscreen on the 6600 anywhere 😉

Ewan is the best to explain this, but touchscreen is not the only difference. Theres alot to the programming in Series 90 and 60 that is different.
Touchscreen is just one of the visible enhancement Series 90 enables, thus needing a hardware change.

You dont put a V6 engine in a car built for a V5 just cause its a newer model. The procedures for such is alot more complicated.

Just be patient, there will eventually be a series 90 phone with the form factor of 6600.
