I dont have a BT Card on my PC so I definitely cannot use Nokia PC Suite. Does anybody know any other software which I can use to synch my contacts to my PC using the USB cable?

I have been looking for a program like that too for the past few months now and I still can't find one. Not very smart on Nokia's part....😞

Hi,

There are some small apps to import & export contacts on Symbian phones, for Series 60 :

- SmartVCard of Symbianware

http://my-symbian.com/7650/applications/applications.php?fldAuto=435&faq=2

and it is not expensive

- Contacts Manager

I suggest testing the demo/trial versions because I have no experience with them (I do not have a Series 60 phone, I am almost buying one...) so I cannot say which one is better.

Good luck copying your contacts,

Roberto

I'm sure you can buy a sim card reader?

thanks for the suggestions, but i have tried both and neither works successfully with the ngage......thanks anyway.

I have the same problem after a month of trying to resolve the USB conflicts on my laptop - I got nothing at all after buying an 8-in -one card reader and a USB Controller for my laptop - all returned now, so no extra expense.

Now when I plug in the USB I can 'finally' see the N-Gage on My Computer and get the Audio Player to synch files - but the PC suite is a no-no as it caused major probs with my P900 (the N-Gage is my son's.)

So I tried uninstalling everything including the USB controllers and installing only the Nokia Suite but I still couldn't get it to work. I then installed the P900 software - no probs. Why? Who knows!

Therefore, the Nokia Suite had to go.

So if you guys ever get a solution to this, please let me know. Mind you my son is 12 - which brings me to the question of priority and necessity of this software anyway? lol 😉

how many contacts does he need to synch???now I'm really 😕
