Hi, anyone know how to get rid of the orange logo on the replacement cover?

any chance?

Liquid paper -- like snowpake or tipp-ex?
You could then use a sliver pen (the ink, not the pen colour) to paint over the white square left by the liquid paper.

Or go to a model shop and by a can of the Humbrol silver enamel paint.

Is the logo a decal? You could carefully scratch that off.
