It's best just to ignore whatever is said on msmobiles, they just seem to consist of rants and raves. Oh and the comments are the site owners not Microsoft's.
some of the things that site says is just pathetic.
How can anyone call a front screen with quick links to all feature an innovation, surely it is mandatory?????
They might of 'pinched' it, the difference will be on the Sendo it will actually open the APP as opposed to fookin off for a cup of tea, then locking up the phone as all MicroShite phones do.
That is just trash!
And its a pretty old story. We already decided its pathetic 😃
BTW:Not even MS Diehards read msmobiles. 😉
No one will care who copied whose technology........ . At least Sendo was smart to get rid of the unstable Windows Mobile PC 2003 OS and used Symbian as their based OS. If Microsoft compares the number of Windows Mobile phones and the number of symbian-based smartphones in the current market, they should know why Sendo gave up the Windows. Also the smartest manufacturer is the one who copies the "good" idea, enhances it and succeeds, like the Japanese auto makers keep copying the Europeans, enhancing and finally succeed. We should be more exciting the see how much better the Sendo X performs.
Ignore it!
MS wasn't given up by Sendo - originally MS promised Sendo a large amount of money with which they could develop smartphones together, when that money wasn't forthcoming over a long period of time it became obvious to Sendo that MS was really only in the relationship to steal phone knowledge - which at the time MS had little of. Shortly afterwards MS partnered with SPV and produced the 100 later E100 and now the E200. They effectively left Sendo in the lurch and in a rut which it has taken them two years to pull themselves out of. Very unfortunate too, because if it had gone ahead as it was supposed to they would already be a market leader and not be playing catch up - and playing catch up they are too. It looks like it will be a great little phone - but if they don't start running soon, they may as well not start.

I agree, they always write trash about everything not Microsoft
At least Windows Mobile phones are shipping within the US. The Sendo X may never be officially available in the States.
So,that is where they sell ms powered phones 😃
hey wshwe
do u know which company has them?
Just rememeber that MS cant produce a stable phone that does everything properly yet!

i know but all of them look so cooooooool😎 😎
I used to have a 7650 which I enjoyed mostly but I have now got a SPV E200 and it blows ecerything I have seen out of the water. Obviously it does have its faults but what doesn't? The home screen on my SPV is fully customisable in a way a Symbian phone could only dream of.
I know you are not going to believe me but the phone is not slow. In fact it is much faster than my 7650!
Has it caught MyDoom virus yet 😃
What service pack are you on?
Just kidding mate, glad you like your phone.
Will
nafem, don't get me started on the SPV's bad sides.I don't think the server has enough bandwith left 😉
All I have to mention is to get 2 days out of a new SPV, you have to remove the memory card and shut off bluetooth
Kinda defeats the object really!
I know that battery lifespan is deminished if Bluetooth is enable but that is the same of any phone. There is an app that turns bluetooth on when a call comes so you don't have to have it on all the time.
Handy eh?
Wirelessly posted (Rafe Mobile: NokiaN-Gage/1.0 SymbianOS/6.1 Series60/1.2 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0)
Everyone has thier own preferences. I've tried both and i prefer series 60. Its worth bearing in mind that the e200 is a newer phone. Compare with a 6600. At the end of the day each side has its fans, but we are all mobile mad \ fans!

except for a giggle 😊
never mind, the Symbian Mafia is making him nervous 😉 I've been meaning to make a cartoon of Symbian as a puppet with Nokia holding the strings just for his benefit. Puppets of Nokia!!!!
I like the Sendo X, though I've had a few problems with the buttons being a bit small and close together (I've ended up back on the main screen several times while scrolling right, though I think it's partly because the navi-buttons are so different to the 7650) - the buttons are far better than those on the Siemens SX1 though!
My life would be complete if I could get Funny Farmer on my 7650... it's the best mobile game I've ever played... until the phone crashed and killed all my chickens! That was just a demo version of the phone though, not very stable. I can't wait till we get a decent handset for review. I just wish Orange were going to have the Sendo, but they're never going to have a Sendo handset. Bloody politics!
Cool thanks for the info JadeViper and like your new avatar. Good thing for me is that Telestet in Greece has been taken over by Tim so I might get to see the Sendo X about the same time the Italians do. I can dream!
