Weird one this that I can't figure out. Whatever i set as my ringtone, even when I associate a tone with individual contacts it always plays the same Ibiza party tone.
Yes I have activated the right profile...Anyone else had this.
While I am here, is it possible to change the shortcuts on the "desktop" I really don't need the vodafone live shortcut and would rather replace it with messages but I'm damned if I can figure out how.

Have kind of the same problem, but only when I set a wav as ring tone, it will always play the def. nokia tone, no matter what I do, no joy. On my first 6600 it did also not work at first but over night started working......after a few weeks I sent this phone in as the display was not so good and got a new one, with this one I had no probs playing wav's as a ring tone, unfort. this one got stollen, no I have a 3rd one and this one just will not play wav's as a ring tone, anyone idea's ? re-format ?
I had this problem in the beginning. Are the ringtones in the right folder? The should be in c:\nokia\sounds\digital if the're mids or waws. Use FExplorer for instance. I think you can browse and move these files in the gallery mode as well.
