Folks,
Unlike the earlier PC Suites of Nokia, the PC Suite of 6600 does not have the capability ot display and edit address books/contacts on the PC. Given that this is positioned as a PDA, should there not be a feature like this? Are there any good packages in the market that serve the purpose? 😕
I'm glad I'm not the only one to find this incredibly annoying. Possibly the most important part of any PC suite and it isn't included. Most of the Nokia software is completely useless and I too would welcome any suggestions for some simple software whihc would do nmothing more than let me manually add/ edit the Contact info on my phone through the PC.
Syncing my entire Outlook address book to my phone was simply a nightmare.
How could Nokia miss this most obvious and important feature?
Maybe we send a request to Nokia developer for an upgrade or another version of Nokia Pc Suite for 6600 that can edit address books/contacts.
Hope one of their members surfing on this forum and read our topic.

If u have outlook 2000/XP installed, import data from ur phone book/calendar to it and edit it there and sync it with the phone using PC suite. U can use outlook express or Windows address book also, though it is much better to use the contacts option in outlook 2k/XP.
