i have noticed that the number 5 key is MUCH softer then the number 9 key, has this happened to anyone else or have i been playing too much pandamonium ??

isnt the button on the phone itself, i mean there is a button and the top button (on the keypad) simply pushes it

Yea when I meant change keyboard I ment that bouncy back thing. Or am I wrong in thinking it can be replaced?

The keymat can most definitely be replaced. Just remove the front cover & you'll see that immediately.

They're not for sale in your average supermarket, though.

However, any Nokia authorized service center should have or be able to get them easily.

5 & 7 buttons are more softer than th eother buttons. maybe they are not softer but because of the eliptical shape of these buttons to press is more simpler and this can give the feelig that these buttons are softer than others because pressing is simpler 😊

'5' button is the softest in the entire keyboard, followed by '7'. I guess you don't have much of a problem. Changing the rubber pad is needed when u press the button and there is no response.
