Pandamonium + tony Hawks pushing the N-gage to its limit

is that it for the n-gage in terms of graphics, i have seen panda slowing down and i have heard that tony hawks suffers sometimes as well.

i bloody thats not their limit coz im waiting for games like soul reaver and metal gear solid, if pandemonium slows down wot chance do these games have of being made........😞

Try this remedy. Turn off sound. The game loads faster and the game seems to run smoother if you are facing slow down problems.

I've only tried THPS and i never expirienced any framedrops.I've heard rumours that cracked versions of Red Faction and MotoGP
were really slugish.

every game works fine for me except for moto gp, the start of the race (e.g the first 2 seconds) are a bit sluggish but after that no problems. Fifa struggles occasionally when playing bluetooth but it only lasts for a few seconds. I can't wait for the 3rd wave of games to come, sega rally should be cool.

Slowdown in games is more usually caused by sloppy programming than using all the available power, ie pushing device to its limit.

Well... ok....sloppy programming actually uses all the available power...but I think you get my point. =)

Agreed. It's to early to say what the limits are yet. I expect that as time goes on developers will find ways of squeezing more out of the N-Gage.

pandomenium musn't be the top limit of the N-Gage, because if it is that means N-Gage has a problem. 😊 and i really don't think that it is the top limit 😊

Since THPS still has time to record all your moves so it is able to play back your run afterwards I think we can safely say that the developers still have enough clockcycles left.

Meaning THPS is nothing near the limit, but ofcourse it depends on the coding capabilities of the developer.

Like I could create a Tetris game that would need every little piece of resource the N-Gage has to offer 😛

i think ppl suffer from slow games is because they are some programs running in the background which they dont know about

try holding menu and closing everything😊

There is a game like you've said GhostDog, if i am not wrng it's name is Quark or stg like this. I had it on GameBoy, it is not a FPS but it is an action game 😊 you have a spaceship, and there are blocks coming from the top of the screen with different shapes and by shooting little blockts you are trying to complete these shapeless coming blocks to rectangles or squares. It was fun but i lost it during a holiday.maybe you could find and try that one.
