I heard that 6600 can handle up to 5 SIM cards that means up to 5 different numbers at once with only 1SIM inside and without the other 4SIM's fisicly inside the phone.I do not find this logical, is it true? and if so how do i do that?
P.S.PPL told me that the other four cards are put in the phone throught a PC with their codes but i dont find that logical either.
Hi!
This option is not a function of a phone, it is a function of special smart SIM card.
You can store several SIM card profiles into it and then you can choose which to load when you power on the phone and enter the PIN code.

I should be getting smart SIM from my mobile provider right, if they offer that kind of SIMs?
I've looked in to buying the kit for this, but would like to know more about how it works before I do. I e-mailed a supplier but they answered every apart from what I wanted to know in the reply, in other words..............they didn't know either!
a kit? Who mentioned a kit? I thought it was only about a special SIM card and nothing else.

Please tell me where I can get one of these smart SIM cards, and how I would go about setting it up!
5 sims is a lot. But I'm going to ask if there is already a product that is a " dual sim cover " or anything that can hold 2 sim cards on your 6600? I know there are a lot of dual covers for other model of nokia phones. I know the 6600 is just new, but it's going to be great if they will launch a dual sim cover for it also.
there is way to have abour 9 sims in one.
maybe this is illegal, so i dont want to post any info about.
if is not illegal, i can post
Post it,i don't see why it would be illegal,if its not ok i'll delete it.
Search for Ghost Sim on ebay
I think you can use an elvis goldcard programmer to program several sims onto one blank gold card, haven't done it but seem to remember it from when I used to use an elvis when ondigital were still going😉
Don't know anything about 5 or 9 sims but I have a 'multi sim' or 'Ghost' holder in my Nokia 6600, it fits under the back cover and holds 2 sim cards, to look at the phone you can't tell there is one inside! You simply turn the phone off and back on again to switch from one sim card to another. I sell them for 15.50 uk pounds. I also have them for the Nokia 3650. If interested, just post a reply 😊

I believe it is illegal in some countries as duplicating a SIM card (or producing 2 SIM cards with identical phone numbers) can not only confuse the phone network if they are active at the same time, but can also help lead to identity theft.
I think they are talking about 2 different sim cards to put on a sim card holder so that they won't have to change the sim now and then.
