wen i try and nput an unlock code it gives me a not allowed msg can any one tell me why and how to get around it?

wrong forum try another forum people here dont look to kindly on unlocking phones. Have a look round the net you will find what you are looking for sooner or later.
If you mean the phone's own lock code, then the default is 12345 (it is mentioned in the User's Guide).
If you've changed and forgotten it, the only way to fix it is to have the phone reflashed at a Nokia authorized service center.
