I just found that there's something wrong with the kb of my "contact list". Let's say i have 120kb in contacts. if i delete some details like phone, or fax, the memory instead of decrease, it really increases... 132kb, for example. and if i re-insert those details (phone + fax) it will eat a bit more of memory... 140kb.
I have 162 kb now and without adding thumbnails or info to the contact list, it jumped from 109kb to 168kb. it's scaring....
does anyone have a similar problem? and a solution??
Another strange thing, is that when you check your phone memory in the tools folder, you have a certain amount of memory for the contacts, but if you use contacts>contacts information>memory, you will see that it's different. some times higher, some times lower....
is it supposed to be this way and i'm the blind one?
Please help!
thanks

Well I noticed that when you delete contacts, the memory is not released. Also when you modify a contact it looks like a new one is created and the older one is not released immediately.
But, after a few days, or just after syncing the phone, the memory is actually released. Guess it is the way the database works, it keeps a copy of the deleted items so that it can update the database on the sync software. I sync intensively so I am not sure about the details, but, it looks to me that it expires them anyway after a few days if you do not sync.
oh... i really hope that's what's happening... i'll wait to see. thanks
That use true,or you could just reset the phone.
