I was wondering what you guys are using ..........I'm looking for a ringtone which is really really loud...None of the defaults are loud. I commute to my work daily on a motorbike 😛 and sometimes I cant hear the ringtone while riding. I'm looking at something like the Deskphone Lo which is there in the 3650...It is amazingly loud....

I use .wav files as ringtones.I edit them with Sound Forge for better performance.Midi's and mp3's are too soft.

If you compare the speaker loudness of Nokia series 60 phones-
1. 3650- soft
2. 7650- medium loud
3. N-gage- loud
I envy my younger bro's N-gage which is so much louder than my N7650- playing polyphonic/ monophonic/ wav ringtones.😉
I would be pretty satisfied by the loud ringtones Like Jungle etc. on the N-gage.
rajkanneganti,my ringtones are too big to be posted in the fourms because they are very high quality.Search the S60 multimedia forum or every other forum,you might find links to sites that do host ringtones.

There r many wavs in the multimedia section- i guess u won't be able to dl it as it is in the read only forum, the one which was earlier.
nice way to get rigtones real loud is to record of a stereo pumped, but then again i dont know if the gage can handle music that loud and it sounds pretty distorted and crap, but thats wot i hafta do until i get my mmc so i can listen to music😞
