Every so often (quite frequently actually) this message comes up.. It pauses my game and is really annoying. Anyone know any solution?Also, on several occasions now i have got "device failure start up. Plz take to local retailer." Taking the mmc out and starting again works, but its just annoying. Any solutions?

i don't know actually but if it works with out mmc so try to format it like backup the files in to you computer and make the mmc clean so start n-gage, then if it won't help bring your deck to nokia centre 😊

Sounds like a serious error. It sounds like the controller thread that checks what applications are running runs in to deadlock or out of resources so along the line it is checking for an operation or resource and getting stuck there. I am truly only guessing since i know little of the symbian os architecture.
is there any file i can delete to stop this coming up?May sound stupid but i don't really want to lose my ngage for any significant amount of time and the shortest nokia say they can do it in is 1 month.

ok something amazing happened today.Well, not too amazing but still good. I started charging up my ngage, and then decided to play on it, before the chraging symbol had come on. As i turned it on, it came up with the message "device will restart" in a wierd kind of font that i'd never seen before. Ever since then, i've had no messages, nothings gone wrong and i can actually play games without having them to be paused every few seconds. I didn't delete anything, so does anyone have any sort of explanation for this?Except for it being a 29th january miracle?

No maybe it a command was stored somewhere and was waiting for a resource to be released before it could execute command(watchermainthread error). This reasource never became available so your n-gage did you a favour and restarted its self so that everything returned to normal(Good little n-gage). This ofcourse is pure conjecture!
its back again.So annoying, i thought it had gone away. At least the more serious message hasn't come back yet.(Touch wood)
