Should I buy a 6600?

Hi all, I'm new to these forums and spent a while reading various posts. The 6600 seems like a good phone and Ive managed to play around with one for a couple of minutes but couldn't really spend time with one properly.

I'm about to purchase on tommorrow but wanted to ask a couple of questions so if anyone can answer them I'll really appreciate it..

1. I know the video capture is limited to 9 seconds but can I donwload longer clips/ movies? For example can i download an episode of the simpsons provided I have sufficient space on my MMC card and watch it? If so will real player allow me to do this, or will I need a different application?

2. I've heard the audio quality for ringtones is appalling when set to play MP3's etc.. is this really true? Also having read various threads on this site I'm unclear as to whether the 6600 plays .wav files without the need of an extra application, so if someone can set me straight that would be great.

3. Can I make up folders and organise my text messages into different folders and can you lock the folder with a pass key like on the new v600? Also how many SMS's can you store on the phone?

4. Is the phone slower or fast like other Nokia's in operation? Currently I have a t610 and they are slow, particularly for text messaging.

5. Can you assign a caller with different ringtones depending on whether the caller is calling or texting? And can text message alerts be .wav files?

Thank you.

1.Yes,be the videos need to be encoded using special setings in order to be played on the phone.BTW:There are several video players and formats that can be used on the 6600.

2.The 6600 can't use mp3's as ringtones. It can play wav's without any third party application.

3.Yes,you can organize folders, for security i think you will need to use some third party application. It can store as many SMS as you have free space.

4.Its slower then other Series 60 devices(7650,3650,N-Gage etc etc) but it will definitely be faster then the t610.

5.You can assign different ringtones for different contacs but you can't with SMS.The SMS ringtone will be the same for every contac and yes,it can be a .wav file.
