Sync.. How?

hello there guyz.. how u doin?! um.. i downloaded the 'sync' prog for my 3650 and i don't know how to use it. the setup is very confusing. please help me!! what do we enter in the following:

host address

port

remote calendar

remote contacts

...

If you mean the Remote Sync program, then you need the correct settings for a so called "SyncML server" somewhere on the net (Remote Sync is a "SyncML client"😉.

There are a bunch of SyncML server product makers (but they're generally quite costly products) like FusionOne, Starfish, Magically, etc.

Such products are generally used by operators/carriers or corporations to set up a link to corporate calendar/email systems (like Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise or whatever).

SyncML (Synchronization Markup Language) is an XML (eXtended Markup Lanaguage) based synchronization language/protocol. Currently defining it is the task of the Open Mobile Alliance or OMA:
