Does anyone know where the pictures that are added to contacts are stored? I have a full version of FileMan and have trawled through a:, c:, & z: drives but can only find a contacts.ini file.

it's stored inside the contacts.cdb file in the C:\system\data folder, so I don't think you can access it yourself, but as I recall, there was a 3rd party software that lets you access them and even the ringtones used with your contacts!
the program is called ContactLinker, and you can download demo from HANDANGO , and it's only $2.5 if you like it!
Thanks hAnDyGUY - I will back make a copy of the file and, after a reset, put it back on and see if it brings up the pics. I will also check out that application.
