Hello to all 9210 rascals !!!
A question concerning Switcher app...
Whit the Switcher app, you have a choice of several staff to close in order to free some memory.
What does the ...EIKSRVBACKDROP... stands for & what does the ...YOU HAVE... stands for ???
When I (ex)terminate the first above option it restarts 9210 !!! The second mentioned option, euuuuh... I do not have a single clue what it stands for... Any help or tips available???
As well, it seems that I am having some error Messages, type... Messaging Watcher, Fax Watcher, Reason Number 6, or even Messaging Watcher, Etel Client Faul, Reason number -28...

You Have is the program that pops up a message when you receive an SMS or FAX or E-mail.
As for the message watcher error message - it seems that the best way to get rid of this message is a format and re-install of all software.

If every time I have such kind of error messages I need to Format and re install all apps & soft, I will get very old, with a long beard & be completely impotent !!!

Hello 9210 users.
I think you get the "message watcher faults" if you use the task-manager to close the telephone-program. Try out yourself Reset your phone. Call your 9210 by another phone -> all ok. Close the telephone-program with the task-manager, call your handy -> "message watcher faults" etc. Press the telefon-button, call your 9210 -> "faults". Restart your 9210, call your 9210 -> all ok.

Aaah, I got a message watcher note. but I thought it was due to the sms assistant i had just downloaded. Is it on the origional s/ware or did I dowload it?

to fix the 'message watcher fault' try this,
remove batterij
open 9210
during 'start up' press
ctrl+shift+i
the machine will ask to clean up registry,
click yes, you may lose some minor settings, but it fixed my problem with the 'message watcher'

I've had the Message Watcher error message without having task manager or SMS assist. installed, I don't think it's an addon app - just something within the messaging subsystem of the 9210 that sometimes gets confused.
It seems that if do not (ex)terminate the following below tasks or apps with Switcher, than I don't have any more those annoying error messages...
