I used N8350's voice recorder to record a voice conversation, it's don't have any problem. Love the function so well whenever I need to take down contacts or notes when I am holding the phone and have no pen or pencil or paper to write them down
Now with my new 7650, whenever I record voice conversation, not only myself but the other party on the other side of the phone could heard the beeping tone in every few min or secords!!! Is there any way to edit the OS of the phone not to beep during the recording? There's no privacy at all... 😞
I'm sure I remember hearing somewhere that this was done on purpose to ensure the other person is aware of the fact they are being recorded...

Taken from the 7650 User Guide:
If you are recording a telephone conversation both parties will hear a tone every five seconds during recording. Note: Obey all laws regarding recording of cals. Do not use this feature illegally.
Is the symbian os open to alterations for hack or is read only?? :P
