I am new in 6600. I received my 6600 yersteday, and I am trying to put a theme in it. I have in my laptop WinXP, and I noticed that "Nokia's Series 60 Theme Studio" is working only in Win200.
I tried through "PC Suite for Nokia 6600" but I couldn't find where the themes are stored, either in phone's memory or external card memory.
Please inform me how can I put some themes in my 6600 and where have I to put them either in phone's memory or external card memory?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards

You got Infra-red or BlueTooth eh?
Hi,
There has already been a thread about how to get Theme Studio working on XP but I will tell you. Bear in mind it does run slow, but it does run.
On the installation file, right mouse click and view the properties.
Then select the Compatability tab and select it to run under Win2000 compatability. This will now allow you to install in WinXP no problem. During installation say yes to install the java.vm I think it is.
Thats now done so you can make your own themes etc.
Now, to get themes to your phone. Very easy this so don't panic.
You have installed already PC Suite I take it? If so connect your phone to the PC using IR or BT if you use that.
Now most themes about on the net are already .sis files and this makes it easier. Decide on what theme file you want, eg. coolice_Holly.sis then double click the file.
The install process should automatically start. You will get some options like what language and the next one will ask you where you want to install the theme to, phone memory or MMC.
Click next and off it goes.
Then go Tools - Themes - select theme - Otions - Apply and voila.
