I got a bluetooth dongle today myself. Its Taiwanese made. Also in the bundled software I too had WIDCOMM software. Now same as above my PC SUITE is not able to detect the BLUETOOTH attached to USB port although WIDCOMM software works perfectly with it and recognizes that stupid thing is present their. I even tried what another user said in another post of changing the driver settings and all. Still regretfully the connection manager on COM 4 shows bluetooth although it shows No Phone present 😡 But this I tired with WIDCOMM software only. I still havent downloaded theother software the user said but I would try that too to see if that solves the problem. Although I guess there should be some simpler solution for this 😕 as when WIDCOMM is working perfectly why aint NOKIA PC Suite and Connection manager recognise that Bluetooth Dongle is inserted in the USB port.
All you guys your assistance would be highly appreciated 😎
Ok guys i finally got my bluetooth to work with PC SUITE! 😎
I was doing something wrong myself as in order for NOKIA PC SUITE to recognise the phone is on bluetooth you have to ENABLE SERIAL PORT function through your bluetooth software as well as under the phone so for both to recognize each other and work.
Generally I think there is some clash or other with my software and PC suite coniguration but itz working now. I too cant describe the easy way out for you guys who may be facing this problem. But i recommend when you buy the dongle you ask the person selling to give you full support for its installation and refund in case it malfunctions!
Hav Fun Guyz,
aM now trying to find out what allI could do with Bluetooth 😃
OK - i use the same bluetooth dongle and never had such a problem - and you will not get configuration help for this from manufacturer, or manuals.
You just have to configure by yourself bluetooth and router properly
So
1st: Pair phone with PC (from your phone search for a device - pair with PC - set it as authorised, when it connects to PC give the pin for pairing on PC too) - finnish pairing
go to router ikon on the system tray (i supose you have already installed router with pc suite), rightclick -> go to properties, enable bluetooth ports
go to My Bluetooth places - > Entire bluetooth neighbrhd - your device will be listed, double click - than u'll see Serial - doubleclick on that too - first it says the connection could not be established, but Go back and u'll see that it is connected - at this time the router ikon on the tray will show that it is connected -
now you can start PC suite or install prog's from Explorer (just d-click and it starts install automaticlly)
hope this helped you
Sami
