P900 wont play gifs with 300 and above frames ... but the P800 and Nokia 6600 Both can play gifs with 300 and above frames ... so is there a solution for the P900 so we can view these gifs !!

This is plain stupid cos my P800 can playback your file immediately without any problems whatsoever. Not sure why SE wanted to change their image viewer's capability."

every time i try to view this gif it say "not enough memory", even
though i have plenty of space, and then it says program close:
"Program picture, Reason Code: WSERV, Reason# 7"
SO IS THERE A SOLUTION FOR THIS NONESENSE !!
Could it be that the image viewer stayed the same but the p900 has less free RAM then the p800 and the 6600?
Somebody said its because of the new firmware !

I had noticed that I have very little free RAM on the '900 compared with my '800, and I use a similar 40-ish frame GIF* in FC mode.
How sure of this are you -- is it just observation and deduction (certainly seems to make sense explaining the "symptoms"😉 or do you have a reference?
* well, maybe not a GIF if Xerox are reading this, it just has, like, a GIF extension on the end, but it's a PNG, honest 🙄

I have the same RAM problem when having a GIF as wallpaper in FP mode. And I was using one of SE's GIFs!! I lose about 2MB RAM whenever I sue this GIF as the wall paper! I was using the cosmos screensaver image.
is there a fix for this ? :frown:

What do you have memory card, what size of memory?
