Okay as u can see im new here BUT Hello :P.
For around 1 week i have been looking at what phone to buy when its time to update the contract phone... and i like the look of the 6600 after reading 5 pages of posts (bored at college :P).
Few questions though :
1. Im interested in the online IRC and MSN apps (Agile and Wireless IRC). But it says 'cannot be wap needs to be mobile internet connection'. Well on my provider o2 they are giving me 500mins FREE wap.. Is this pointless then ? AND How much is this mobile internet gonna cost me ?.
2. Does the camera come with flash or something to add light, i kno silly question but i cant find it saying anywhere and i dont want a dark image camera phone.
3. Does Pokemon and Zelda GBC games work on the goboy app that you can install ???.
4. Where is this 1mb MMC, i cant find a link to purchase, i guess its not out.. and if not, is there a 512mb ??. What would you reccomend i buy.. i like the idea of the movies on my phone btw.

You need an Unrestricted Data Connection sometimes the providers class "WAP" as just HTTP but you need a full TCP/IP connection which usually costs by the meg depending on how much you use it.

No it has a Night Mode which helps but is in noway a subsitute.

Ive never seen 1MB MMC's for sale I dont thik they ever intend on making them small 🙄 1GB ones wont be out for a couple of months as they have only just rolled of production.
128 the Majority of them work fine and it is possble to put cerain branded 256 and 512 cards in the phone.
1) You need a GPRS connection.
2) There is no flash on the 6600.
3) Don't know.
4) The 6600 comes with a 32Mb MMC card as standard.
Okay well thats bad news.
Does anyone have a image of a photo they take, not with added sun light, just a normal average day random image... because if it is dark like nearly every camera phone i have seen ill just have to purchase a 7250i or something crap :'(
Also i see that i also have 'Inclusive GPRS Mb 0.50 Mb' ... I also get 500mins WAP, 500 Text and 125 MMS. Does that sound ok, 0.50 sounds a little.. SMALL ? or maybe not, i have never used it before.

0.5 megabyte (Mb) is equivalent to approx 600 wap pages or 10 web pages, 50 emails without attachments or 5 emails with a one-page attachment.
I presume the inclusive items are per month ?
If so, then.....
500 Texts and MMS sounds good to me.
😃 !. ThankYou :P. BUT im back once again with more annoying questions. So far i want this phone but a few more things would make it AMAZING !.
1. Mp3 support, i have not read that it has it anywhere and i suppose the worse is the case but is it possible to get mp3's to play from the MMC ANYHOW !!. Even if u convert it to .wav (And wen i say play i mean same quality from PC not lil bleeps and fuzzy :P)
2. If anyone could get me a screenshot of them using there phone with GoBoy on playing either Pokemon or Zelda i would be so amazingly gratefull.. Im really worried how these birdseye games would work on such a different size screen. Also as i asked in the last post a picture of camera images would be great too :P - Please Someone 😃.
3. I hear these things are slow, iv never had a 'big !' phone before so im used to little things and wonder how slow this is really going to be. I currently am using a 8310 (Crap i know) but im wondering is there a HUGE difference in speed ???.

1.It can play mp3,just install an mp3 player.There are a few available.The quality won't be satisfactory since the 6600 has only mono output - no where near PC.
2.I have played Zelda,it works fine.I'm to lazy to post a screenshot.

i dont find it slow at all! please please dont buy a 7250i!!! i had one b4 i got the 6600 and i ve gone from having a million problems to being compleatly obsessed with my phone. i cant put it down. the size may seem a little dauntin at first, going from an 8310, but i find it fits really well in my hands (altho i do have big hands for a girl) and theres so much stuff to play with. now usually i get bored very quickly. ( as in ive had fones for ONE DAY and got bored and taken them back) but i havent even got round to installing apps yet and im still not bored. mabey not everyone loves it as much as me, but i have turned into a compleate geek, and cant shut up about it!😛
