Hi.. To anyone with problems connecting the 7650 using Windows XP.
For ages, I could not get my 7650 and my PC to communicate through infrared. I am using the Actisys ACT-4000U series#2 USB adapter. I went into the device manager settings for the Actisys, clicked on advanced and changed two settings...Now it is working perfectly!
I changed "infrared transceiver type" from the default settings to "Sigmatel 4000"and
I changed "Min.turnaround time" from the default settings to "0.5ms".
Hope it helps someone who is as frustrated as I was!
